Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, producing high-quality images for interpretation.
Responsibilities Include
- Operating cameras to detect and map radioactive drugs in patients' bodies.
- Positioning patients accurately and selecting appropriate technical factors.
- Preparing, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
- Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensuring timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS.
- Maintaining equipment functionality, reporting issues, and ensuring a clean department.
- Working safely and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Certification as CNMT or ARRT-N within six months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- Physical ability for frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and patient handling.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and teamwork skills.
