Role Overview
Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for nuclear medicine studies.
- Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and work at various sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher).
- Certifications: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification, RT (N) or CNMT, Illinois IEMA (excluding MRI).
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine, 2 years of experience, CPR certification.
Additional Details
Position is PRN with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, but no weekday call. The role is suited for those with experience or certifications in nuclear medicine technologies, including PET, tomography, or radiotracer procedures.
