Role Overview

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures in a PET Scan Unit. This full-time position involves 10-hour day shifts and requires collaboration with radiologists, cardiologists, physicians, and physicists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures following departmental and regulatory standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
  • Support staffing needs by participating in call schedules.
  • Ensure proper operation and safety of nuclear medicine equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Certification as a National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Registered Technologist.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine.
