We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear imaging procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation, administration, and imaging, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

Key Duties Include

  • Performing quality nuclear medicine imaging examinations on diverse patient populations.
  • Operating equipment safely and accurately, including cameras and PET/CT systems.
  • Preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals as directed by physicians.
  • Ensuring radiation safety, maintaining quality assurance, and complying with NRC regulations.
  • Collecting patient data, analyzing results, and providing high-quality images for diagnosis.
  • Possibly performing PET/CT scans after training, with understanding of related procedures.
  • Providing patient education and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications Include

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program or radiologic technology training.
  • Certification by ARRT or CNMT/NMTBC.
  • At least one year of radiologic technologist experience if not a recent graduate.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic principles, radiation protection, and quality control.
