Join a hospital-based imaging team performing nuclear medicine exams, therapeutic procedures, and PET/CT exams.

Schedule: Full-time days. The role may include on-call work, weekends, after-hours shifts, and hours beyond a standard 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine quality-control measures, patient exams, and procedures requested by medical staff.

• Perform therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams.

• Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.

• Verify orders and related health information to support timely exams and reporting.

• Complete documentation for interpretation, reporting, billing, archiving, and retrieval.

• Maintain records for radioactive materials, including receipt, administration, return, decay, and disposal.

• Follow applicable safety, regulatory, quality, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

• Graduation from a CAHEA-accredited allied health program or equivalent.

• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification.

• American Heart Association BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

• One year of post-graduate Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.

Physical requirements: This role includes lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent standing and walking, and exposure to radiation, bloodborne pathogens, and infectious diseases.

Compensation: $70,000 $93,000 per year (about $33.65 $44.71 per hour).
