Role Overview:

An experienced nuclear medicine technologist responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging and radiation detection equipment, and collaborating with clinical staff to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following protocols and safety standards.
  • Operate imaging and radiation detection equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assist with stress testing and imaging studies in coordination with clinical teams.
  • Perform quality control on equipment and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, follow safety protocols, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Current state license, certification, and BLS certification.
  • Experience with dose calibrators, Geiger counters, and patient monitoring devices.
  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and stress lab equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment and provide age-appropriate patient care.
