Overview
Saint Michael's Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a 358-bed regional tertiary‑care, teaching, and research center in Newark. The hospital offers state‑of‑the‑art technology and a focus on quality, compassion, and community.
Responsibilities
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Technologist supports the Radiologist in performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.
Qualifications
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T., or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
- Current BCLS (AHA) required.
- Proficient computer skills.
Pay Transparency
Saint Michael's Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and other voluntary benefits. The current compensation range for this role is $39.87 to $44.58 per hour.
