Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a qualified physician, administer radioactive materials and operate nuclear medicine equipment to perform imaging, laboratory, and dynamic function studies that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients throughout the life cycle, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Requirements

• Possesses NJ State license in nuclear medicine.
• Possesses a working knowledge of scintillation cameras and related computers.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with other departments within the hospital, attending physicians, and other hospitals.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with extremely ill and/or irritable patients.
• BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data . In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
