Schedule Details/Additional Information: Day Shift 7:30 to 4pm. Primarily at Main location, but some opportunities to work offsite locations available. No call weekdays and limited call on weekends.
What You Will Do
Under indirect supervision performs all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of Nuclear Medicine images including advance procedures such as cardiac imaging and PET. Responsible for the care of the patient while in the Nuclear Medicine Department. Responsible for following Georgia Department Nuclear Regulatory guidelines for radioactive materials. Maintains “ALARA” practices for radiation protection at all times.
What You Will Need
- Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
- Graduate of AMA, JRC, or Regional Accredited institutions approved school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine
- Nuclear Medicine ARRT or NNTCB (Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification Board) registry. If registry is not completed at hire, must have completed within six months to remain employed
Pay Range
$38.20 - $57.30
