HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
Job Summary
The position includes preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and licensed therapeutic procedures. The technologist follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and accurately performs studies using a variety of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work three 10‑hour shifts; days rotate throughout the week, including weekends.
- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the facility’s Radioactive Materials License.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, required.
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
- Current licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of Florida and ARRT(N) or CNMT.

The position is located at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, a four‑story, 150,000‑square‑foot facility with 70 private beds and a six‑bed private ICU. The hospital provides comprehensive acute care services, including emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and surgical procedures.
