Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Radiology team! Description:The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a registered professional who provides health care related imaging services to patients of a broad range of ages through the use of radiopharmaceutical scans of different parts of the body. These scans assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist may assist in diagnostic radiology, when needed.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training program requiredGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program preferredARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) requiredRegistered and eligible with Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board requiredGeneral knowledge of other imaging modalities preferredSkilled at performing IVAbility to read and communicate effectivelyHours:This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm.
