Job Description

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures, including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies. They also perform clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed, and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, standards, objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.

Education

Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.

Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.

Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.

Position requires verification of your college transcript; prepare to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.

Experience

Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred; however, new graduates or Nuclear Medicine Techs who are new to the field are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with no weekends except call coverage. The position requires rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Call will be every 12 days – 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (e.g., 7 a.m. Saturday through 7 a.m. Sunday) or 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5 p.m. – 7 a.m.). Call pay, overtime, and shift differentials will be provided if called in.

Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Eligible

External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus of $6,000–$15,000, depending on experience, when hired into a full-time position. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law. Relocation assistance is available for candidates joining from a distance greater than 120 miles from their previous role and home, up to $6,000.
