- Sanford Clinic Radiology is seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to the group of 35 Radiologists.
- State-of-the-art technology is used by well-trained Radiographic Technologists and support staff in the various clinical environments.
- The facility currently has two 64-slice and two 16-slice CT scanners, 5 ACR accredited, FDA approved digital mammography units, bi-plane interventional equipment, computerized and digital X-ray, PET-CT, and an open MRI to complement our four MRI scanners, including a 3 T state-of-the-art magnet technology.
- The facility offers cardiac CT/MRIs and also utilizes three mobile 1.5 MRI's that service our system hospitals and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit patients.
- Provide consultative services.
- Perform and interpret all routine and non-routine nuclear medicine procedures to make diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize both in vivo and in vitro techniques for diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide therapy with unsealed radioactive sources.

Requirements
- No visa sponsorship available.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a fellowship log if just completed a fellowship.
- If not applying directly out of a fellowship, provide a quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 24 months, including number of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications.
- Demonstrate clinical involvement in at least 50 Nuclear Medicine cases in the last 24 months.
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Nuclear Medicine residency program, accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
