Nurse Practitioner - ENT (Otolaryngology)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with ENT physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient or specialty clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive ENT-focused history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic ENT conditions (e.g., sinusitis, otitis media, hearing loss, vertigo, allergies, thyroid disorders, and throat conditions)
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (audiograms, imaging, labs, endoscopy results)
• Assist in minor in-office ENT procedures (e.g., cerumen removal, nasal endoscopy assistance, foreign body removal, wound care)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and state licensure
• Provide patient education regarding disease management, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions
• Collaborate closely with ENT physicians, audiologists, and nursing staff
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical guidelines

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP program)
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Active state APRN license (or eligibility)
• DEA registration (or eligibility)
• Prior experience in ENT, primary care, urgent care, or related specialty preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Experience in otolaryngology or surgical specialty clinic
• Familiarity with audiology testing and ENT diagnostic tools
• EMR proficiency (Epic, Cerner, or similar systems)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced specialty practice

Work Environment:

• Outpatient ENT clinic setting
• May include minor procedures and assistive in-office surgical support
• Collaborative physician-led or physician-supervised environment
