JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
  
• Licenses: Active Tennessee RN License, Active Tennessee NP License, Tennessee DEA with TN address
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TN address required
  
• Certifications: ACLS Certification
  
• Experience: Preferred 2 years recent Hospitalist experience; new graduates considered
  
• Other Qualifications: Graduate of accredited NP program; documentation of MMR/Varicella immunity; Two-Step TB test; case logs for previous 2 years
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide nocturnist hospital medicine coverage, including patient admissions and cross-coverage.
  
• Perform comprehensive histories and physicals, and manage discharge planning.
  
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team.
  
• Respond to medical emergencies and code situations as needed.
  
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
