Nurse PractitionerOur affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Austin, TX. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful.Position Highlights:Join an established and successful practice that has served women in the Austin metro area for over 20 years.Practice team consists of 8 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners along with a great support staff.This is a clinic only position and does not require any call, nights, or weekends.Duties include seeing obstetrics & gynecology patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medications.Diagnose and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions.Counsel patients on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options.Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20-30 per day.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Perform and assist with some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements.Will assist physicians with scheduling major surgical procedures at the St.
