Local Team Collaboration

Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside. Work alongside one MD/DO hospitalist during the day, rounding on an average of 12 patients per day.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP.
• Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

12-hour day shifts with a doctor for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.
• See a wide variety of diseases while specialists are available in a small community-based hospital.
• Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist; the doctor handles all procedures, codes, and rapid response, allowing focus on patient care and clinical decision‑making.
• Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.

Rewards and Compensation

• Compensation: $140,000/year.
• CME allowance.
• Paid malpractice insurance + tail insurance.
