Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job Details
- Job Title: Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine
- Location: Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia area)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 1, 2025
- End Date: November 29, 2025
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $4110 - $4870 per week
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Practitioner (Locum Tenens)
- Healthcare Setting: On-site, Family Medicine clinic
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (any state license accepted)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in Family Medicine or primary care
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current BLS certification required
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a family medicine setting
- Perform patient assessments, physical exams, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Prescribe medications and manage both chronic and acute medical conditions
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and disease management
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
