Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology
Austin Heart would like to recruit an advanced practice provider to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas, in Harker Heights, TX. Qualified candidates:
- Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA
- Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
- Practicing at the Harker Heights office with two interventional cardiologists and one non-invasive cardiologist; may include outreach locations such as Lampasas, TX
- Call requirements: 12 weekends per year
- Office hours: Mon-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-4:30
- Start date: ASAP
- The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist
- The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
