Psychiatry – North DakotaPosition: Psychiatrist (MD)Location: North DakotaSchedule: Full-time or part-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)Practice Type: Primarily outpatient with potential rotating schedule for inpatient and ED consultsPatient Population: Individuals across the lifespan; pediatric experience and competence preferred but not requiredKey Responsibilities:Conduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluationsPrescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medicationsProvide integrated mental health services within general health settingsCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and physician assistantsRefer patients and seek consultations with other providers and medical specialties as needed for complex or comorbid conditionsUtilize advanced health assessment and clinical decision-making skills to manage patient care independently and collaborativelyRequired Skills and Qualifications:Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to establish effective working relationships using tact, discretion, and diplomacyCompetence in maintaining focus and exercising good judgment in busy or emergency environmentsBasic computer and keyboarding proficiencyHigh level of customer service skills to build rapport with patients and colleaguesEducation and Certifications:Medical Doctor (MD) degreeBoard Certification or Board Eligibility in PsychiatryABPP certification preferred but not requiredChild/adolescent certification preferred but not requiredSuccessful completion of the facility’s credentialing process prior to startCompensation:Base salary of $335,000Eligibility for additional compensation via bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based modelsFellowship: Skill: Contact RecruiterBrad BohannonPhone: 877-295-7778Email: brad@medicorpinc.com
