To support a growing behavioral health program, the remote contracted North Carolina PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, establish care plans, and supervise peer support specialists while maintaining flexibility in scheduling and compensation based on personal service delivery. Key responsibilities Conduct initiating visits via telehealth to establish diagnoses and care plans for patients entering PIN-PS programs Document visits in the EHR within 48 hours to ensure compliance and billing standards Provide general supervision of certified peer support specialists delivering navigation services under your oversight Required qualifications Active, unrestricted APRN/NP licensure in North Carolina or other specified states National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Ability to discuss and establish any required physician collaboration or supervision agreements based on state regulations Active NPI and eligibility to enroll with Medicare and Medicaid Experience and comfort with telehealth care for adults with serious behavioral health conditions
