To support the Veteran community, a full-time North Carolina Licensed Sleep Physician will manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions, providing direct patient care remotely while adhering to a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional weekends. Key responsibilities Manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions, performing patient evaluations and ordering appropriate tests Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) and communicate with Veterans' providers regarding care coordination Complete mandatory suicide screenings and relevant questionnaires for new patients, ensuring compliance with national guidance Required qualifications Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state or territory Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties
