Supporting medication access and optimization, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician will work remotely to manage prior authorization support and financial assistance enrollment for outpatient prescriptions while collaborating with patients, prescribers, and payers. Key responsibilities Maintain knowledge of service line regulations and external support programs Proactively identify opportunities for intervention and develop solutions to customer concerns Utilize internal systems and electronic health records to document and track patient eligibility and program enrollment Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a PharmD program CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a PharmD program Two years of pharmacy technician experience or three years of relevant experience in a related field Ability to obtain CPhT certification within two years if hired as a non-technician with qualified experience
