Onsite Part Time Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations

To support the Duke Women's Health Menopause Specialty Clinic, the part-time North Carolina Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide evidence-based care, education, and counseling for patients with menopause-related concerns, primarily through telehealth with potential in-person visits in Wake and Durham counties. Key responsibilities Evaluate and manage menopause-related health concerns, including hormone therapy and symptomatic perimenopause treatment Provide gynecological care, including routine screenings and treatment for common issues Conduct in-person assessments and treatments within the APP's scope, such as IUD placements and biopsies Required qualifications Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree in Nursing Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner Two or more years of experience in Women's Health, particularly managing midlife concerns Experience or training in sexual health management and/or prescribing anti-obesity pharmacotherapy Certification by The Menopause Society or comparable menopause-focused training preferred within six months of employment
