Seeking a North Carolina Licensed Disability Claims Advisor, the full-time remote role will independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims, conducting interviews, reviewing medical documentation, and delivering timely claim determinations to support individuals during critical life moments. Key responsibilities Manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims from intake through resolution, collaborating with claimants, employers, and medical professionals Conduct interviews and review medical documentation to support informed claim evaluations and decisions Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards Required qualifications 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly related to the role's responsibilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
