North Carolina Licensed Child Psychiatrist

To support a growing practice, the part-time North Carolina Licensed Child Psychiatrist will conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and deliver evidence-based treatment to children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies for various mental health conditions Foster a collaborative treatment environment by engaging families in care planning and education Required qualifications: Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment preferred Proficiency with computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets) Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children and adolescents Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework
