Supervising the behavioral health utilization review clinicians, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Behavioral Health Supervisor will ensure appropriate care for members while managing the day-to-day activities of the utilization management team in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Monitors compliance of behavioral health utilization review clinicians with applicable guidelines Tracks utilization management resources to ensure adherence to performance, quality, and efficiency standards Provides coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations to the behavioral health utilization management team Required qualifications Valid North Carolina license as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, RN, or BCBA Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience Prior supervisory experience in behavioral health preferred Knowledge of behavioral health utilization management principles preferred Understanding of medical necessity criteria for a broad range of behavioral health services preferred
