Seeking a strategic Nonprofit Controller to work fully remote, this role will manage a portfolio of complex nonprofit accounts, oversee financial statement preparation, lead month-end closing meetings, and mentor Accountants while ensuring compliance and quality client service. Key responsibilities Lead month-end closing meetings and financial reviews with nonprofit clients and internal teams Oversee preparation and review of monthly financial statements and manage audit preparation processes Implement and maintain robust internal controls across client accounts while mentoring Accountants on the delivery team Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration 7+ years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience, including team leadership Deep expertise in nonprofit fund accounting, grant management, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting Proven success in client-facing advisory roles in a multi-client environment Advanced technical skills across multiple accounting platforms
