Non Profit Finance Leader

A New Hampshire nonprofit is looking for a senior finance leader to own the numbers and help steer the organization. Hands on role reporting to the Executive Director, with a small team and a seat at the leadership table.

Responsibilities:

• Run the full accounting operation, including payroll, general ledger, cost allocations, and the monthly close
• Lead the annual budget, reporting, and forecasting for leadership and the Board
• Manage local, federal, and foundation grants, from compliance to reporting
• Own fiscal policy, internal controls, the annual Single Audit, and the Form 990
• Supervise and develop the accounting and grants staff
• Support HR, benefits, and contracts as a small organization requires

Qualifications:

• Accounting or finance degree with federal grants experience
• Strong on federal cost principles, cost allocation, GAAP, and grant reporting
• Nonprofit background a plus
• A steady leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
