The organization is dedicated to enhancing health and wellness through comprehensive healthcare, education, advocacy, and support of research to improve lives.Commitment to Culture:Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that allows you to work productively and effectively with clients, co-workers, and management.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting- Ability to maintain confidentiality- Accurate and thorough—monitoring own work for errors- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with particular proficiency in ExcelEssential Functions:Code all cash receipts into the appropriate accountsPost cash receipts to client accountsPost write-offs for managed care and assistance program adjustments; follow up on discrepanciesPrepare monthly cash receipts and corresponding payables report for all contract partnersBalance cash receipts twice a monthAssist, as requested, with the annual financial auditPrepare and/or post journal entries for:Cost allocationsGrantsMonthly accrualsRecord cash receipts into the appropriate checkbookConduct annual physical inventory of fixed assets and maintain the fixed asset systemAdditional Responsibilities:- Additional duties as assigned by the Controller or CFO
