Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Retina Specialist to join our practice. This role is ideal for a motivated clinician who values autonomy, collaboration, and long‑term career growth. In addition to providing state‑of‑the‑art patient care, the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to become involved in clinical trials and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our practice, including the potential for partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Diagnose and manage complex retinal conditions including diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, macular degeneration, and other retinal diseases.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including intravitreal injections, laser therapies, and vitreoretinal surgeries as appropriate.
- Research & Clinical Trials: Engage in clinical trial participation and research initiatives as desired, contributing to innovative treatment modalities and advancement in retinal care.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our referring doctors, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure a comprehensive, patient‑focused approach.
- Practice Development: Contribute to the growth and development of the practice with a focus on leadership, leading to a partnership track.
Qualifications
Board Certified/Eligible in Ophthalmology with fellowship training in Retina. A strong commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and ongoing education. Optional interest in participating in clinical trials and, if desired, a long‑term commitment to a physician‑led practice. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
