Job Description
At Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors, we believe compassionate caregivers make a meaningful difference every day. As a Non-Medical Caregiver, you will provide personalized support to seniors in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence, safety, and quality of life.
Each client has a unique care plan tailored to their individual needs. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Personal care and hygiene assistance: Provide standby assistance with showering and bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, hair care, and nail care for non-diabetic clients.
Light housekeeping: Help maintain a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light cleaning tasks such as laundry, dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
Mobility assistance: Assist clients with walking, transfers, fall prevention, and general mobility support to ensure comfort and safety throughout the home.
Shopping and errands: Assist with grocery shopping, food bank pick-ups, medication pick-ups, and other essential errands.
Meal preparation: Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with hydration and dietary reminders as needed.
Emotional support and companionship: Provide friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional support while encouraging engagement in activities and daily routines.
Job Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
Ability to pass Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background checks.
Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. We welcome compassionate individuals who are eager to learn.
Strong communication skills, dependability, and a caring attitude are essential.
