Non-Invasive Cardiology

Job Overview

Employer: UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI)

Location: New Castle / Hermitage, Pennsylvania (near Pittsburgh)

Role: Full‑time, general, non‑invasive cardiologist (clinical academic appointment)

Eligible candidates: Medical graduates from 2026 or 2027; visa sponsorship available.

Schedule: Full‑time with inpatient and outpatient duties at UPMC Jameson and/or UPMC Horizon locations.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiology consultations and critical care services
• Electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis and interpretation
• Interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Cardiac nuclear studies interpretation
• Participation in a weekly rotation with other cardiologists
• Shared weekend coverage, 1:4 on a rotating basis
• Option to teach at the academic center

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license
• Proven experience in non‑invasive cardiology practices
