Sanford Health, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the US, is seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to provide full-spectrum, high-acuity cardiac care within a horizontally integrated health system. The ideal candidate will join well-established departments with dedicated support staff and is encouraged to engage in medical education and research.

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide treatment or consultative services for adult patients presenting with diseases of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • BC/BE in Non-Invasive Cardiology
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program and completion of a fellowship in Cardiology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
  • Certification by the appropriate specialty /subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at time of application but completed fellowship within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
