Position Overview

The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing physician‑led cardiovascular practice serving Gainesville and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consultative care across affiliated hospitals in Gainesville.

Key responsibilities/services include:

• Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
• Nuclear cardiology
• PET CT
• Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring (CACS)
• Stress testing and cardiovascular diagnostics
• Preventive cardiology and medication management
• Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations

The incoming physician will collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, heart failure specialists, APPs, and dedicated support staff across clinic and hospital settings.

Additional Opportunities

• Participation in federally approved clinical research trials
• Support of local residency and educational programs
• Growth within advanced imaging and PET/CT services

Shared call responsibilities supported by APPs provide strong physician support and work‑life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease training programs
• MD or DO
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Nuclear and Echocardiography board certification preferred
• Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
• Strong commitment to patient‑centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence
• Eligible for H‑1B and J‑1 physician waiver sponsorship
