Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide treatment or consultative services for adult patients presenting with diseases of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels.

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Active involvement of 100 cardiology procedures.
- For Level 2 and 3 Cardiologist (Invasive or Interventional Cardiologist), 50 cardiac catheterizations as primary operator during the past two years with satisfactory quality data (if applicable to practice).
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program.
- Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency.
- Certification by the appropriate specialty /subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- Applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but who have completed their fellowship training within the last five years shall be eligible, however must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their fellowship training unless the appropriate governing Board waives such requirement.
