• Large group practice setting
• Dynamic group of 10 non-invasive cardiologists at Ochsner Health's academic flagship center providing all areas of cardiology diagnostics
• Department of Cardiology includes over 80 cardiologists as members of the Ochsner Health System's John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute, practicing at 5 community locations and the academic medical center in New Orleans
• Ochsner has 2 medical schools, including the Ochsner Clinical School affiliated with the University of Queensland in Australia and the Ochsner/LSU-Shreveport Medical School
• ACGME accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology training programs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care
• Train medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical research programs
• Provide all areas of cardiology diagnostics
• Engage in research, and to teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows

Qualifications

• BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• The ideal candidate will be a multimodality cardiac imager and have training in advanced echocardiography and TEE in support of structural interventions (preferred)
• Individuals who reside in and will work from the following areas are not eligible for remote work position: Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C.
