Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its well-established, hospital-employed Heart & Vascular practice. This role offers the opportunity to work within a comprehensive team of physicians and advanced practitioners, providing both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care. The practice is equipped with advanced cardiology technology, supporting a dynamic and engaging clinical environment.

Practice Info

• Hospital employed Heart & Vascular practice
• Practice includes 5 Physicians (Interventional, Non-Invasive, CT Surgery, Vascular Surgery) and 9 Advanced Practitioners
• Inpatient consults/cardiac testing located in main hospital
• Outpatient clinic located on the main campus of the hospital
• Staffing includes 11 MOA, 2 EKG Techs, 15 LPN, 5 CMA, 3 Surgery Schedulers, 2 Surgery Assistants
• Equipped with Phillips IECG, Welch Allyn EKG, Geneva Remote Monitoring Device Interrogator/Programmers (Medtronic, St Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik), Philips IECG, Philips ISCV Informatics & Cardiovascular Workspace, Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System, Philips ST80i Stress Testing System, Philips Cardiac Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient consults/cardiac testing
• Provide outpatient clinic care
• Perform 4-6 procedures/day
• Manage an outpatient clinic caseload of 10 patients/day
• Manage inpatient caseload based on hospital census

Compensation

• Salaried
• Eligible to earn additional compensation by joining our CERP (Pay for Call) Program

Shift & Schedule

• 7 days on/7 days off
• 24/7 call during the week you are on
