Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health . This position involves providing direct patient care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient cardiology clinic, performance of non‑invasive cardiac testing, ECG interpretation, and teaching responsibilities.

Opportunity Details:

• Provide direct patient care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient cardiology clinic.
• Manage non‑invasive cardiac testing such as echocardiography, including TEE and cardiac stress testing.
• ECG and ambulatory ECG interpretation and reporting.
• Direct teaching responsibilities for cardiology fellows, as well as teaching and mentoring medical residents and medical students.
• Participate in cardiology call coverage schedule for the division.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Current board eligibility or certification in Cardiology
• Active DEA license required
• Experience treating an underserved patient population preferred

Wages and Benefits include:

• Annual Base Salary: $340,000* (board eligible); $350,000* (board certified) based on 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k): Company contribution of 3% of base earnings immediately vested; after one year of service, an additional 7% contribution. No employee match required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement.
