Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to join their broad non-invasive cardiac imaging program in Western North Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an accredited echocardiography lab, a busy nuclear cardiology lab, and cardiac MRI services within a thriving health system. The successful candidate will be part of a comprehensive cardiovascular team, serving a broad referral base.

  • Robust interventional cardiology program featuring 3 interventional cardiologists who provide services including percutaneous coronary intervention, TAVR, PFO closure, and Watchman procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination.
  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide treatment or consultative services for adult patients presenting with diseases of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency.
  • Certification by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training.
