Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Preventive Cardiology

Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with a focus on preventive cardiology in Hartford, Connecticut. The incoming provider will deliver comprehensive clinical care to a medically complex patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings. This opportunity allows clinicians to practice within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment supported by advanced cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and managing risk factors for cardiovascular disease
• Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient specific risk factors
• Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis
• Genetic counseling for familial history of early onset heart disease
• Collaborate with primary care and multiple specialists and ancillary service providers to coordinate care

Requirements

• BC/BE in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management
• NBCL certification and/or obesity management is encouraged but not required
