Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) is seeking a full-time general non-invasive Cardiologist to join their growing practice in Santa Rosa, Novato, and Petaluma, California. The incoming provider will work alongside an established team of physicians and advanced practitioners with excellent growth potential and robust hospital support. Practice Info
- Practice consists of 8 providers including 6 non-invasive cardiologists, 3 interventional cardiologists, and 2 Advanced Practitioners with excellent growth potential
- Located in Santa Rosa, California and Novato, California at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital and Novato Community Hospital, with an outreach clinic in Petaluma
- Spacious new offices immediately adjacent to the hospital
- Built-in referral network from strong PCPs within the group and patients with Sutter insurance plans
- Office ancillaries include three echo machines with full-time techs, nuclear stress testing supervised by an exercise physiologist, cardiac CT capability, device clinic, and centralized anticoagulation clinic
- Integrated EMR (EPIC) in office and hospital
- Strong office support staff
- Features a 124-bed hospital with a regional STEMI program, coronary interventions, pacemaker/ICD implants, cardiac CTA with CT-FFR, cardiac MRI, ECMO capability, and strong hospitalist and intensivist support
Responsibilities
- Provide 1 week every 7 weeks of inpatient consultative only service with hospital NPs
Compensation
- Competitive salary with income guarantee
- Salary range: $633,804/Yr. - $698,171/Yr.

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time
- Call: 1 night/week, 1 weekend every 7 weeks
Qualifications
- Board certification in general cardiology required
- Transesophageal echocardiography capability required
- Cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and/or pacemaker implantation skills are desirable, but not required
