Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Baltimore Metro Area – MedStar Health – MedStar Union Memorial Hospital
MedStar Health is looking for non‑invasive cardiologists to join its growing team of experienced cardiologists at MedStar Union Memorial, MedStar Good Samaritan, and MedStar Harbor Hospital. The role includes ambulatory and inpatient clinical responsibilities, advanced diagnostics such as echocardiography, trans‑esophageal echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Call coverage is infrequent (approximately one weekend per month and occasional on‑call days). The position offers a balanced work‑life environment with rare next‑day‑off opportunities after weekend calls.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac care.
- Perform advanced diagnostic tests (ECHO, TEE, nuclear cardiology).
- Maintain clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Cardiology.
- Board certification in echo and/or nuclear cardiology preferred.
- Superior training and interpersonal skills.
