Payroll ProcessorProcess payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Provide assistance in entering and paying all wage garnishments. Process property payroll transfer reports. Ensure benefits deductions are accurate. Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity. Provide support to the leadership team for various accounting-related projects. Accurate calculations of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Maintain updated employee files and input data into payroll systems. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Balance payroll records and review tax filings. Resolve pay discrepancies and handle payroll inquiries. Strong analytical skills related to retro calculations of pay. Ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and calculations. Ability to manage sensitive, confidential employee data. Understanding of labor laws, tax codes, and payroll compliance. Effective communication with HR and finance teams, as well as employees. Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or human resources is preferred. An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is often preferred.
