Atlantic Surgery Center at Union located in Union, NJ. Seeking a Non-Call, Day-time Anesthesiologist.

Overview

Atlantic Surgery Center at Union is a convenient and inviting space for patients and their caregivers. It has 4 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites and 2 minor procedure rooms, 30 pre‑operative and post‑anesthesia care unit bays and advanced technology, equipment, and instrumentation.

Schedule

Mon‑Fri, 8‑hour days. Part‑time FTE also available.

Team

Leadership: Dr. James Pierre‑Louis, Chief Anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Medical management of patients during surgery and other medical procedures.
• Pre‑anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
• Current physician license.

Benefits

Salary: $425K. Sign‑on incentives (bonus with or without retention, training assistance, or loan repayment): $50K. Generous paid time off: 7 weeks PTO.
