This role is pivotal in driving the next phase of our SLA management web application, building secure, scalable, and efficient backend APIs that power mission-critical services. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically strong, and can work independently across the entire backend stack, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure and RESTful API development.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient RESTful APIs using NodeJS on Linux-based environments.Design and implement cloud-native solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Ensure adherence to best practices in architecture, coding standards, and security protocols.Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, implement bug fixes, and optimize code.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning sessions.Create technical documentation and maintain up-to-date system design artifacts.Required Qualifications:8-10+ years of professional software development experience.Minimum 4-7 years of experience developing server-side APIs using NodeJS.Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Azure Cloud, with understanding of associated services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.).Solid background in both relational and NoSQL/document-based databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).Knowledge of security standards and protocols such as OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth 2.0.Experience working on complex, enterprise-grade systems with multiple cross-functional teams.Deep understanding of Linux environments and container-based deployments.Strong problem-solving skills with a critical thinking approach.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess business impact and recommend improvements.Proactive attitude toward identifying process efficiencies and technical improvements.Flexible and adaptable to evolving project requirements and shifting priorities.
