Opportunity

Nocturnist to join UNC Johnston, Smithfield, NC. Johnston is looking for a BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with Rex/UNC, these positions involve delivering high‑quality, team‑based benefits including quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.

7 nights on and 7 nights off (7pm-7am)

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• Internal Medicine Residency preferred
• BC/BE
• New trainee welcomed

• BLS, Board Certified in Specialty, DEA, MD License in healthcare specialty

• Language Skills: Ability to communicate proficiently in English.
• Reasoning Ability: High‑level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
