Nocturnist Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and their codes in a closed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting. This position involves managing ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to the ICU and back, if necessary, while admitting approximately 6-8 patients per shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the RRT and their codes in a closed ICU environment.
• Manage ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to the ICU and back as needed.
• Admit approximately 6-8 patients per shift.
• Collaborate with a team of three other nocturnists and support staff, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Work exclusively out of one hospital.

Requirements

• Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine (IM).
• Valid Connecticut (CT) medical license required.
