Practice Info

• Work exclusively overnight shifts as a Nocturnist.
• Join a team of 4 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Via Christi St. Teresa.
• The 68-bed hospital has an open ICU with intensivist support.
• Work alongside clinicians from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
• Day-to-day culture fosters a team atmosphere in a large, shared office space supported by a multidisciplinary patient care model.
• Many clinicians serve on hospital committees, including the medical executive committee.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide variety of cases at a large community-based hospital, including admissions and cross-coverage.
• Leverage advanced resources and specialist expertise to provide care for patients transferred from smaller rural hospitals.
• Work in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Utilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to an internal informatics platform.
