Practice Info
- Team of 6 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners
- Dedicated team consists of two physicians and one APP during the day as well as one physician Nocturnist at night
- Covers the Emergency Department at Cedar Hill RMC
- Closed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7
- Work in Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) with access to an internal informatics platform
Responsibilities
- Experience 2-6 admissions as a Nocturnist
- Responsible for cross coverage on approximately 50 patients
- Hold monthly team meetings to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound
Compensation
- The base salary for a full-time day hospitalist is $340,000/year, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth
- Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation
- Nocturnist hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts
Requirements
- A Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine
- J1 visa sponsorship available
